Left Behind
One of the thoughts that constantly plagues my mind is the question, “how did I spend my time today?” Left Behind is a wake-up call to everyone; reminding them that time is a gift whose use has to be accounted for. Look at the world around you. Consider the rapid changes that have been taking place over the past few years, months, and even weeks. It’s hard to believe that all of this activity is just a series of random events that have no connection. As I wrote Left Behind, I felt impressed by the Apostle Paul’s message to the church in Romans 13:11 which says:
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
There are many for whom the news that Jesus will keep His promise to return means absolutely nothing. They look at the world in all its turmoil in a very cavalier way, claiming, “all is fine”...little do they know that even that very response has been prophesied to abound during this period of earth’s history leading up to the return of Christ. Make no mistake about it—He is coming, whether we are ready or not, and it would be unfortunate for those of us who have been privy to this information all our lives to be caught unprepared.
We have come too far now to turn back
Seen too much to be blind
Heard the voice of the angel crying out, tis the end of time!
Bible prophecies are fulfilling, Mother Nature’s showing us signs
And the voice of Jesus is calling
”I am almost there...don’t be left behind!
