Finish Line is the result of 6 years of living, learning and a prayer journal that turned into song.  Many of the songs were written as direct responses to sermons Gylchris heard while a member of the Community Praise Center SDA Church, under the pastorship of Henry M. Wright.  Described by some as "insightful" and "encouraging", the songs deal with a wide variety of issues that Christians face, from the sudden tragic loss of loved ones, to forgiving those who have hurt you deeply, and even helping victims of sexual abuse find peace and healing in God's hands.  Not all the songs are so heavy, though! The infectious rhythms of the Caribbean and Latin America encourage you to lift your hands in praise and thanksgiving on "Dying to Die for You",  a huge favorite. "Silent?" and "Left Behind" urge the listener to make necessary plans to meet Jesus to a movie soundtrack-like score.  Those searching for quiet resolve to serve the Lord will find a treat in "Wear Your Name".  Simply put, Finish Line has something for everyone.  All the songs were written and orchestrated with great care by Gylchris under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
